Personal Experience
Emre Yersel, Esq. graduated summa cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and thereafter received his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. At Miami Law he was an awarded member of the University of Miami School of Law’s Moot Court Board and the Managing Editor of the Psychology, Public Policy, and Law Journal. His scholastic distinctions include obtaining both the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Communication and Research I, earning the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Legal Communication and Research II, and attaining Academic Honors in both the Pretrial and Trial Sections of the Litigation Skills Program.
Mr. Yersel is a litigation attorney with a diverse practice experience in lawsuits including civil, commercial, consumer, labor, landlord/tenant, foreclosure, family, criminal, and appellate advocacy. He is licensed to practice before all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Emre is a shareholder at McCarthy & Yersel, PLLC, and Of Counsel to the Medi-Law Firm, a boutique firm dedicated to solving their clients’ issues through close collaboration and individual representation. He is also an adjunct professor of Business Law at Florida Atlantic University’s School of Accounting.
